The two-day event in Matamata showcased the latest innovations in cultivation, seedbed preparation, and seed drilling
With NZ Agricultural Fieldays® postponed until later in the year, a number of brands are hosting their own demo days and field days around the country, aimed at giving customers a chance to see machinery available and also in a working situation.
4AG kicked off its Waikato Seeding & Cultivation Demo Day recently, with more planned in other locations around the country.
The two-day event was based in Matamata, where 11 machines were working, showcasing the latest innovations in cultivation, seedbed preparing, and seed drilling, with other new machinery also on static display.
4AG’s new Sicura SD 4500 Direct Drill was launched at this event, a 5″ row spacing seed/fert drill, with plenty of design advantages and the ability to drill in high levels of residue.
Also demonstrated at the event was the Titan 5400 5.4m Roll-Seed-Roll; Bednar Swifter SOF ‘Profi’ Seedbed Cultivator, DVi 970 5m Offset Discs; NG 300-7 Supergrubber Chisel Plough; Bednar 6m Kator Power Harrow and HVR 3000 Offset Discs.
More 4AG Demo Days are planned as weather, gear, and conditions allow.
