The recent Agromek Show in Denmark provided a showcase of the latest farm and construction machinery on the market, as well as livestock equipment and robotic technology
Hailed as the largest agricultural expo in Northern Europe, the Agromek Show attracted more than 40,000 visitors to its November 2018 event.
Held every two years in Herning, Denmark, Agromek offers an opportunity to see some of the latest releases on the market. A quick trip around the halls and it’s clear that there is an emphasis on robotic technology, in all its forms, growing in popularity within both the construction and agricultural sectors.
With specific focus on seeding, weeding, and planting in agri circles, robots capable of cutting verge side grass and brush roads were also displayed.
In the agri side, Claas and John Deere had significant presence alongside other interesting exhibits from Pitbull, Ropa, and Gehl. On the construction side, all the big names were present at the show, including Hydrema, Hidromek, Manitou, and Mustang.
Agromek’s director, Claus Hermansen, says, “I am extremely pleased that we can note that more and more halls get filled. There’s a considerable interest for exhibiting at Agromek. With more than 470 exhibitors and sold stands amounting to 41,000 square metres, we’re currently on the same level as the same period, which we attained two years ago at Agromek.”
