Held on private farmland at Pukeatua, west of Putaruru, the event attracted more than 40 trucks, ranging in horsepower from 100hp to 700hp.
Teams from around the North Island compete in speed rounds and traversing challenging hazards. Three more rounds will be held to complete the season and decide a national winner in each of the four classes.
