If you're keen on a fun filled day for the whole family head down to the Northland Field Days held on 5-7 March 2020 in Dargaville
Whether you are interested in tractors of the 1940s or the latest farming innovations and technology, or simply want a great day out with the family, the Northland Field days have a lot in store at its 2020 event. The Northland Field Days have been running for 33 years and the popular family event is proving to be bigger than ever.
Northland Field days started off in 1985 at the Dargaville racecourse, as a project run by the Dargaville Jaycees, with 80 exhibitors. Come the 1990s, the event saw huge increases in both exhibitor and visitor numbers. The event is now run by a group of volunteers.
This year, visitors will see a range of exhibits representing both town and country, a market area, activities for the kids, lifestyle and rural pavilions, and a bunch of food vendors. Horse and wagon rides are on offer, with a bunch of products for sale including tractors, boats and spa pools.
