Agritechnica 2017: New machinery launches
The latest innovations, technology, and machinery releases have attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors to Agritechnica in Germany. Chris McCullough is there reporting for Farm Trader.
Held every two years Agritechnica unveils the latest developments in hardware, software and technology.
With 23 massive halls, each full to the brim of shiny new tractors, combines, telehandlers and other machinery, it’s impossible to visit all thehalls in one day.
Alternatives to diesel have been a common talking point on Agritechnica stands with many mainstream manufacturers offering up electric and even methane powered engines.
However, the general opinion from key players is that diesel use in the agricultural sector is here to stay for the next ten years at least.
