Farm Trader gives the low down on what went down at the 25th annual Central Districts Field Days in Feilding
Not even rain could dampen the spirits of visitors to the 25th annual Central Districts Field Days in Feilding.
While there was plenty to amuse the ‘townies’ visiting this popular event, more serious business was going on around agricultural machinery and innovation.
With New Zealand brands such as Duncan Ag, Taege, Giltrap, Rata, and Buckton out in force as well as other market leading machinery brands and innovators, there was plenty for farmers and contractors to mull over.
Other drawcards included the New Zealand Army Band, the Royal New Zealand Air Force Black Falcons Aerobatic Show, and A109 helicopter display. Crowd-favourite events such as the Claas Tractor Pull, the National Excavator Operator Competition, and the Central Districts fencing competition provided plenty of entertainment and top-level competition.
