Relaunched under the new banner of The New Zealand Agricultural (NZAG) Show, the fresh format proved a hit with exhibitors and spectators

Even the weather decided to co-operate with clear sunny days for the duration of the event. Steeped in more than 150 years of history, the move to modernise the traditional Canterbury A&P Show paid off, with the NZAG Show receiving rave reviews.

From carnival fun and music (Hollie Smith, Jody Direen, and One Waka) to attract the townies through to agricultural machinery and livestock competitions, Farm Trader visited the event, capturing some of the action to share.
