Founders Kerry and Barbara Powell operate from a 12-acre property on the outskirts of Hamilton, where the purpose-built industrial premises are the Taragate distribution headquarters, as well as the testing ground for any new designs. Innovation in design and excellence in looking after their customers are the passions that drive Kerry and Barbara, who share a mission to supply high-quality and reliable electric fencing to the world.

Over the years, Taragate’s high-quality, easy-to-use products have built a reputation of excellence not only in New Zealand but also around the globe. With strong and enduring relationships with other innovative companies, Taragate is constantly introducing new products and finding ways to improve the old. With a great following in New Zealand, Taragate products are also successfully sold around the world, including Australia, the UK, France, and the US (Central and South America).
