With the 700 Vario being Fendt’s best-selling range of tractors since being introduced in 1998, the seventh generation of the Vario 700 has a completely new ground-up design and expands the power spectrum up to 300hp.
The new engine, the optional 60-inch track width, FendtONE onboard and offboard, and a new generation of the Fendt Cargo front loader distinguish the series as an all-rounder for New Zealand farmers. For the first time, the 700 Vario is available with up to 60km/h.
The new range boasts five models – Fendt 720 Vario, 722 Vario, 724 Vario, 726 Vario, and Fendt 728 Vario, from 203 to 283hp.
Tractor of the Year 2023
The powerful and manoeuvrable all-rounder with a completely newly developed Fendt VarioDrive driveline, integrated VarioGrip tyre pressure control system, and FendtONE operating philosophy, along with its output of up to 300hp saw the Fendt 728 named as the Tractor of the Year 2023 at EIMA in Bologna, Italy.
The jury recognised the completely new development of the Fendt 700 Vario Gen7 for its intuitive operation with FendtONE onboard and offboard, its high performance with low fuel consumption, as well as its versatile applications and numerous technical innovations.
Advanced features
New model 700 Varios have plenty of advanced features, including the Fendt TI headland management system and Fendt SectionControl, which can save up to 15% in inputs by avoiding unwanted overlaps.
Fendt 3-in-1
Fendt’s 3-in-1 system guarantees maximum ride comfort and ease of use. The elements in the system are self-levelling lockable front axle suspension, mechanical cab suspension, and active shock load stabilising.
FendtOne
The new FendtOne driver’s workstation makes life easier and work more efficient for the driver. It provides the ability to customise the functions and plenty of ergonomic features to provide safer, more comfortable hours in the cab.
For the first time, the new FendtOne platform merges the tractor and the office into one control unit. The same screen in the driver’s cab can be viewed as on the office computer or mobile device. This allows for scheduling field operations and orders on the office computer or smart device and sending them to the tractor.
