Taking pride of place on the Kubota site was the M7-2 Series range with Q6M Loader.

“The addition of the three deluxe models is ideal for those wanting a simple but versatile, hardworking tractor,” says Kubota New Zealand marketing and business development manager Ian Massicks.

“Ranging from 130 to 170hp, the M7-2 Series has all the functionality you need to get the job done, without the unnecessary bells and whistles. It’s perfect for everyday farm life or as a machine for contracting.

“The M7-2 is uncompromising on power with its new electronic mapping to the
6.1-litre four-cylinder engine, offering improved engine performance by lowering the rated engine speed from 2200rpm to 2100rpm and lowering the output speed from 2200rpm to 1900rpm.

“This results in better fuel economy while maintaining constant power and torque for PTO and towing work. Another benefit is quiet operation and a large 390-litre fuel tank that ensures a good number of hours between refills. Combined with a Kubota Q6M loader, you’ve got a heavy-duty manoeuvrable workhorse, ready to tackle any loading task.”

Also featuring at Fieldays was the Kubota BB30 Series Precision Grading Blade, the latest addition to Kubota’s range of skid steer and compact track loader attachments.

“The BB30 Series is available in 2.1-metre or 2.4-metre working widths and can grade in forward or reverse. It’s attachment-control ready, meaning integration with a third-party laser or GPS is possible for high precision and automated 2D or 3D grading,” says Ian.

Across Kubota’s Land Pride range, there were multiple new pieces of equipment on show, including the SGC Series Claw Grapples, AG15 Series Arena Graders, FDR Series Finishing Mowers, PR16 Series Powered Rakes, RBT45 Series Rear Blade, and RT Series Rotary Tillers.

“The Land Pride Powered Rake is one of the most versatile landscaping tools on the market, delivering results across driveway or track maintenance, seedbed preparation, and general grading and levelling,” says Ian.

The PR16 Series is expected to be popular with dairy farmers looking for an effective tool to maintain farm roadways and tracks. It’s also well suited to landscaping contractors looking for a versatile landscaping attachment.

The RT Series Tillers are designed to till and cultivate soil with a choice of conventional forward-rotating tillers or unique reverse-rotating models, which pull the tiller into the ground and bury more residue.

The unique, lightweight, and high-strength design of the SGC Series Claw Grapples is made specifically for Kubota tractors and there are four models available from a 1.2-metre unit up to 1.8-metre. From moving rocks, trees, brush, and construction debris without picking up dirt, or for jobs requiring the ability to rake and dig, the SGC range is designed to quickly handle big jobs.

From the Great Plains range, the new NTS26 Series Broadcast Seeder is a unique, one-pass broadcast seeder suitable for many applications, including renovating and reseeding pasture. This can be linkage mounted or trailed and is available in 2.2-metre, 2.5-metre, and 3.3-metre working widths.
