Malone ProCut 200/240/280

Among the most popular offerings from across the Malone range is the ProCut Disc Mower (210/240/280). The ProCut range comes with an existing legacy of producing an excellent cut, with the carefully thought-out geometry of the mower suspension allowing for excellent ground contour following capability.

One of the highlights is the cutter bar design, which ensures the disc throws the crop into the middle of the swath, making for a consistently even swath. The cutter bar is also designed to eject the swath quickly, only cutting once, minimising crop loss, regrowth delay, and tractor power requirements.

Equipped with quick-change blades, efficiency is maximised, as the blades are quick and easy to reverse or replace in situ for farmers and contractors.

In terms of safety, every disc in the mower cutter bar (Drive Shield Module) is protected by a defined shear point. In the event of a collision, the disc is separated from the gear in the cutter bar, protecting the drive train.

Offering cutting widths of 210, 240, and 290 metres, with respective swath widths of 1.2, 1.5, and 2 metres, all Malone ProCut models boast a galvanised frame, heavy-duty driveline and a 1 + 11 hitch category. Topping skids are available as an optional extra on all models also.

Malone ProCut 3000 MP

The new ProCut 3000 MP has a centre pivot layout and uses hydraulic suspension to ensure it floats over the ground, maintaining a consistent cut and ‘treading lightly’ over the sward to encourage rapid regrowth.

Offered in a three-metre cutting width (2.6- and 3.4-metre units are in the pipeline), the 3000 MP has seven discs each carrying two 4mm heavy cranked, quick fit blades to deal with heavy crops, forming a swath with the help of swath wheels.

Malone Tedd-Air

Also available through Giltrap Agrizone is the Malone Tedd-Air, a rotary tedder range allowing farmers and contractors to increase the dry-matter content in crops by speeding up the drying process. These machines are proving a game-changer for New Zealand conditions.

Malone ProCut 320

The Malone ProCut 320 three-point linkage mower delivers an excellent heavy-duty machine that easily handles rough terrain (hence its popularity across New Zealand).

Malone Machinery

Founded in Ireland in 1999, Malone rapidly established a reputation for design and manufacturing innovation and for consistently delivering reliable grass harvesting machinery.

The Malone Grassline product range is aimed at optimising the volume and quality of forage while reducing the cost of fuel, time, and labour – vital components to the success of modern farming and agricultural contracting.

The Malone range can be viewed at Giltrap AgriZone’s Central Districts Field Days site number O113–116.
