New premises for Roger Gill Agriculture
Roger Gill Agriculture has officially opened its new, larger and smarter branch in Huntly.
Opening night proved to be hot and humid, but that didn't stop around 100 guests turning up for an evening of celebration. Special guests included Case IH New Zealand manager Frans Onland, Kuhn New Zealand general manager Mark Elkins and Scott Balgarnie from Marac Finance.
The evening was both educational and entertaining with Onland presenting the audience with a historic overview of Case IH as well as the brand's strategy going forward. To ensure everyone listened intently, he quizzed the group at the end, offering Fly Buys points for prizes. There were plenty of other giveaways throughout the evening, with special mention going to two lucky winners each receiving a children's ride-on tractor - congratulations to Don Waugh and Roger Lumsden.
Roger Gill Agriculture has been servicing the Huntly rural community since the 1950s, so it's no surprise the old premises had passed their expiry date.
Phillip Gill, director of both the Pukekohe and Huntly branches says the new building and location was a necessity as they had outgrown the old one.
"We needed a larger servicing and display area so it made sense to construct a purpose-built facility that's not only better for our customers but gives us a better profile too," he says.
The new branch now has double the servicing bays of the old one, has a larger machinery display area alongside State Highway One, a larger parts division and more off-street parking for customers.
To see the new premises for yourself, visit Roger Gill Agriculture on the corner of Speirs Road and State Highway One, Huntly.
