Being held at Manfeild Park, Feilding (15 to 17 March),where the event has been held every year since 1993, 2018 is shaping up to be the biggest Field Days so far with an expected 600 exhibitors attracting more than 25,000 attendees from around the central and southern parts of the North Island.

Fairfax events operations manager, David Blackwell, says the Field Days are the most visible way of connecting farmers and rural families with agri-tech and innovative products.

"Over the past 25 years, the event has grown from a collection of marquees in a field to a nationally significant event showcasing the latest trends and developments in rural innovation, agribusiness, and agritech. The commitment to innovation means we are delighted to have new features for our visitors every year."

In an uncanny turn of events, this year there are 25 companies that have exhibited every year at Central Districts Field Days for 25 years.

In addition to the usual crowd favourites such as the CLAAS Tractor Pull, the National Excavator Championships, and the Central Districts fencing competition, the 2018 event will also feature the world-renowned NZ Army band as well as the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) Black Falcons Aerobatic Show and the A109 Helicopter Display.

Early bird tickets give visitors the best-priced tickets available along with an express queue service and entry into a draw to win one of two getaways – including flights and accommodation for two people – sponsored by Originair.

Central Districts Field Days coincides with the NZ AgriFood Investment Week – a programme of activities and events designed to connect, challenge, and grow the agrifood industry.
