Ferrari day action at Hampton Downs
The Ferrari Challenge Asia Pacific Series is coming to New Zealand and Hampton Downs is the place to be this weekend (14 and 15 April)
If the roar of powerful engines, the shine of glossy Ferraris, the heat of intense competition, and the glamour of motor racing sounds appealing, Hampton Downs is the place to be when the Ferrari Challenge Asia Pacific Series kicks off on Saturday, 14 April.
Making its debut in New Zealand, the Ferrari Challenge Asia Pacific Series is the second round of the Ferrari Challenge and is hosted by Continental Cars Ferrari.
Drivers representing more than 15 nationalities will take to the track for the racing series, part of an iconic global event that has been taking place around the world since 1993.
The one-make racing series model is the 488 Challenge car, powered by a 670hp turbocharged 3.9-litre V8 engine derived from the International Engine Of The Year awarded 488 GTB. One highly skilled team of technicians manage all cars resulting in perfect technical equality with zero politics.
Since the series kicked off, more than 1000 race drivers have participated. Head to Hampton Downs on 14 and 15 April to see drivers compete in exhilarating fast-paced racing for the glory of winning their first New Zealand race.
