To celebrate the production of its 150,000th tractor, Claas is offering two special-edition models

Claas is celebrating the production of its 150,000th tractor since acquiring the Renault brand in 2003, and to mark the occasion, will be offering two special editions of the Axion 870 (295hp) and Arion 660 (205hp) advanced technology tractors.

Both models feature CMATIC continuously variable transmission, front axle suspension, four-point cab suspension, CEBIS operating system, Telematics, and extensive cab features.

The models will also sport a metallic paint finish and special ‘150,000’ decals.

"Claas has invested well over $1 billion improving its tractor research, development, and manufacturing capabilities over the past decade," says Dave Knowles, Claas Harvest Centre product manager – tractors.

"These include the ongoing redevelopment of its tractor manufacturing plant and testing facility in France and the construction of a new transmission plant in Germany.

"This investment has allowed Claas to release a new series almost every year since 2006, which is an amazing achievement."

Claas now offers more than 30 different models spanning 75 to 530hp.
