Four new products feature in Kubota New Zealand’s latest autumn catalogue, showcasing across agriculture, lifestyle, and construction.

The new M5-1 ROPS (rollover protective structure) tractor series, RTV520 utility vehicle, and SVL97-2 track loader heightens Kubota’s focus on comfort, safety, and flexibility, while the R540 compact wheel loader is arguably Kubota’s best compact wheel loader yet.

Kubota general manager for Marketing Australia and New Zealand Malcolm Owens says Kubota’s exciting new M5-1 ROPS Series will provide greater flexibility for users working with height restrictions, tight spaces, and uneven surfaces.

"The M5-1 ROPS operator station’s advanced simplicity combined with a flat floor allows easy mounting and operation. The shorter stature keeps users in close contact with those around them and prioritises worker welfare," Malcolm says.

The M5-1 ROPS series features a 3.8-litre engine that produces superior horsepower of 93 and 103 on standard and narrow models at the lower engine speed of 2400rpm, while six synchronised gears in three ranges provide a wide range of options.

Another new product in Kubota’s autumn catalogue is the SVL97-2 track loader. Replacing the existing SVL95-2s track loader, the SVL97-2 keeps the same standout features and specifications while modifications have been made to the cab, diesel exhaust fluid tank (DEF), engine and design changes to improve quality and function.

"These updates increase the SVL97-2’s longevity. The large cabin design features a unique front sliding window and improved sealing ensuring a cleaner cabin environment and better air conditioning," Malcolm says.

Kubota’s new RTV520 draws on the tried-and-tested RTV500, with the refreshed bold new look featuring improved suspension and increased engine displacement.

"The new water-cooled two-cylinder engine, with 17.4hp, is just as quiet as the previous model with very little vibration, while noise at the operator’s ears remains at 83dBA," Malcolm says.

The all-new R540 replaces the established R065 with a range of new features. Showcasing a redesigned cabin, multi-function joystick, and increased rated operating capacity, the R540 prioritises comfort and stability.
