All things wheels and tracked will be celebrated at Wheels at Wairarapa 2023

Being held from 5 to 7 February at Clareville Showgrounds, the three-day event will have a different theme each day. Held by the Wairarapa A&P Society, the aim is for a fun, family-friendly event with a showcase of new and old vehicles (privately-owned vehicles are also welcome), from trucks, cars, and vintage machinery to motorbikes, vintage cars, steam, and earthmoving machines.

Wheels at Wairarapa aims to be the biggest collection of wheeled and track machines in the lower North Island.

Steam traction vehicles will be on parade and carry out various activities, with barley crop in the grounds to be harvested and processed. Also present will be a team of Clydesdale horses, an earthmoving area for shifting dirt and digging holes, vintage classics, new tricks and continual displays throughout the event.

The event is planned to be a bi-annual event to alternate with Wings over Wairarapa.
