The Polaris Ranger features self-levelling rear suspension, power steering and a range of Lift & Carry™ attachments to let you move, plow or grapple up to 227kg.
When carrying heavy loads, the HD’s Nivomat® shocks automatically adjust the suspension, resulting in the highest loaded ground clearance of any utility vehicle.
To combat ruts, stumps and rocks the Ranger HD offers anti-kickback steering that reduces feedback over bumps. It also has power steering with exclusive Variable Assist for easy steering.
Polaris outfitted the ATV with an armoured front end to handle heavy work and extreme riding conditions. It offers protection for critical components such as the radiator, cooling system and front differential.
The new Polaris Ranger HD is suitable for farm, construction site or any application that requires heavy hauling and towing.

The features that set Ranger as the market leader include Independent Rear Suspension and Polaris True All-Wheel Drive, remain however the Polaris Ranger HD has new features for even better comfort and handling, including electronic power steering, more cab space, exclusive Adjustable Dual A-Arm front suspension, improved ergonomics and self-levelling rear suspension to provide nearly full suspension travel even when fully loaded.

This ATV is suitable for farm, construction site or any application that requires heavy hauling and towing.

To make driving and riding in the Polaris even smoother, the new Ranger HD is outfitted with adjustable Dual A-Arm front suspension in addition to its independent rear suspension. Exclusive to Ranger, the new model features motion ratio and preload suspension adjustment front and rear. The new front suspension has two upper shock mounting points on each wheel, giving a motion ratio adjustment that increases stiffness of suspension.

The preload adjustment, available on each wheel, increases the initial spring compression for a 30 percent stiffer ride when needed. The new suspension allows for the maintenance of ground clearance (12 in/30.5cm) and suspension travel (9.63 in/24.5cm front, 9 in/22.9cm rear) when carrying heavier loads and using accessories such as plows, cabs and sprayers for work applications. To combat ruts, stumps and rocks the new Ranger also offers anti-kickback steering that reduces feedback over bumps.

To complement the Adjustable Dual A-Arm front suspension, the Ranger HD features the first-ever Self-Levelling Suspension on a utility vehicle. When carrying heavy loads, the Nivomat® shocks automatically adjust the suspension, resulting in the highest loaded ground clearance of any utility vehicle. Due to a lower spring rate, the Nivomat® shocks provide a smoother ride and the ability to go long distances at 80 kmph fully-loaded, making hauling loads such as feed, fencing or building materials quicker and easier.

To create an exterior that could handle heavy work and extreme riding conditions, Polaris outfitted the new Ranger with the most-armoured front end ever designed. It offers protection for critical components such as the radiator, cooling system and front differential.

The front headlights have been inset for added protection from rocks and branches, and the bumper, with heavy-duty bash plate, offers dedicated vehicle tie-down points, massive central tow hook and inset tow hook cage for additional front differential protection. The vehicle also offers auxiliary light mounting holes on the front bumper and bosses already installed for optional Halogen/LED distance headlights.

For easier steering during heavy-duty work applications, this ATV also features power steering with exclusive Variable Assist. Ranger HD’s power steering allows for easy steering at low speeds and eliminates feedback at high speeds so the operator can work longer and enjoy the ride.

The new Ranger has comfortable ergonomics designed to let the operator work longer and enjoy a better ride. It features more seat and leg space, reoriented gas and brake pedals for improved operator comfort, a new angled-back seat that is similar to a car and a relocated brake lever for operation inside and outside of the vehicle.

Polaris also redesigned the steering wheel for better steering with gloves and added standard tilt steering with the highest range of motion for maximum comfort.

The Polaris HD offers the storage options designed for real life work and recreation. With an industry-leading 46 percent more dash storage than the competitors, it has the most productive storage in the industry. The Ranger HD also has a removable under-seat compartment for added storage or an optional cooler insert.
