It was Segway power all the way at the recent Segway Powersports Australia & New Zealand Drive Day hosted in Australia.
Showcasing the range of Snarler ATVs and Fugleman UTVs, this event provided the opportunity for media to see and ride the Segway offerings firsthand and also afforded a sneak peek of the Super Villian (unveiling an industry-first hybrid powerplant, with the factory turbo-charged two-litre four-cylinder — the world’s first SSV to break the 300hp threshold).
Hosted at Seven Hills Farm, Tallarook (an hour out of Melbourne), the 600-acre Victorian state-farmed land included a looped course, taking in a wide variety of terrain to test the capabilities of the different machines.
The range of machines available on the day included the 1000cc Fugule side by side, in three- or six-seat configuration, as well as the Snarler 600 ATV models. The latest addition to the range, the 500cc Snarler ATV, was a particular showpiece and
is available in two variants: single seat or a longer wheelbase dual seat machine.
This new model should be available in New Zealand and Australia early this year.
