Sprayer manufacturer Silvan has added to its dairy and livestock range with two new models hitting the Australian market.
The 1600- and 1900-litre Spray Pro machines are ideal for broadacre and livestock farmers to spray pasture and are designed for mounting on a tractor’s three-point linkage.
A key feature of both models, Silvan says, is the 18-metre galvanised self-levelling boom with hydraulic fold, lift, and tilt along with parallelogram suspension.
Both models contain a self-priming BP125/20 pump with nitrile diaphragms and corrosion-resistant, cast anodised aluminium bodies, capable of delivering a minimum of 121 litres per minute at a pressure capacity of 2000kPa.
Other features include a 30-litre Silmix chemical induction hopper mounted on the side of the tank, a 150-litre flush tank, and a 10-litre hand wash tank.
The PolyTuff, impact restart polyethylene tanks contain a floating ball and non-spill offset screw-down lid with a single breather.
The robust galvanised steel frame comes with an adjustable Cat II and III hitch.
Three-section Silvamatic electric controls with pressure-compensating direct-acting valves are fitted as standard, while on and off pressure adjustments can be made from the tractor cab.
Both sprayers can also be customised to suit a farmer’s individual requirements.
Options include a bigger BP200/20 PTO pump that delivers 195 litres per minute, hydraulic drive centrifugal pump, a range of Bravo automatic rate controllers including ISOBUS and a 57-litre paddock foam marker.
