Evolution Remote Control Package

When it comes to the fencing industry, innovation is constant, whether in the tools fencing contractors work with or the machinery that play a key role

The Evolution Remote Control Package is a recent innovation that has been designed to help revolutionise remote control systems for pilot controlled-operated machinery operations. A collaboration between Revolution Postdrivers and Evolution Remote Systems, the initial package has been designed to combine with Kubota tracked loaders/skid steers, and the Revolution Telescopic Swinga post driver for fencing and landscaping operations.

Revolution Postdrivers founder Tony White uses a remote-controlled Kubota SVL95 and SVL97-2 skid steers/track loaders, mounted with Revolution’s Telescopic Swinga in his White Fencing business.

“I went down this path because of the versatility of what the skid steer/tracked loader can tackle. It’s much more than a dedicated posting machine, which is what I would have ended up with if I’d gone with a tracked machine option,” he says.

Attachments can be interchanged quickly and efficiently, with a multitude of attachments on offer. White Fencing can carry out loading and offloading materials, pulling down fence lines, line clearing, carting soil, picking up vegetation, layout, posting, running a netting dispenser all within minutes of each other.

Tony has also recently converted a Pearson 6-way blade to mount on the front and has been benching fence lines, further adding versatility and removing the need to cart the excavator or bulldozer onto the job.

Featuring intuitive controls that make it user friendly

“Having the skid steer/tracked loader remoted is about adding even more efficiency, it really cuts down on our posting time and is especially beneficial in steep hill country.

“Last week I remoted controlled the skid steer/tracked loader and post driver up a steep narrow greasy bush track, totally removing operator risk. Our foreman can use the machine, and I know we’re reducing operator risk associated with mobile plant, especially in steep terrain.”

The current Evolution remote control system is fully customised for post driver functioning and associated construction works, ensuring a perfect fit and optimal performance from day one.

User training is conducted upon commissioning, with intuitive controls that make it user friendly for all users, regardless of technical expertise.

Other types of machinery, such as excavators can also be remote.

The Evolution Remote package enables precise control from distances of up to 200 metres (line of sight), reducing the need for manual intervention and enhancing productivity, particularly in hazardous and challenging environments.
