Designed with a heavy-duty 120mm x 120mm frame and an impressive 85cm under-frame clearance, both Väderstad’s Cultus and Cultus HD tine cultivators deliver exceptional throughflow, even in challenging residue conditions.
Every component is built for longevity and consistent performance. A standout feature is the ability to transfer weight from the tractor to the cultivator, ensuring reliable penetration even in the toughest soil conditions.
A critical performance indicator for tine cultivators is their ability to maintain consistent working depth. With a release force of 480kg on the Cultus and 680kg on the Cultus HD, both machines ensure reliable depth control across all soil types. When an obstacle is encountered, the tines release fully and re-enter the soil quickly and powerfully, maintaining precise tillage across the entire working width.
The Cultus can work down to 25cm, while the Cultus HD reaches 30cm. Both models also excel at shallow cultivation, with hydraulic depth control from the tractor cab enabling rapid adjustments to suit varying soil conditions.
All Väderstad tine cultivators come equipped with the innovative MixIn shin as standard. Unlike traditional designs that throw soil upwards, the MixIn shin propels material forward, allowing it to pass the tines a second time. This doubles the mixing and crumbling effect, improving residue distribution throughout the soil profile and contributing to more uniform crop emergence – without increased fuel consumption.
The Cultus cultivators operate in three harmonised working zones, delivering exceptional results in all soil types. The first zone features three rows of double-spring Cobra tines that mix and incorporate residue efficiently. The low tine angle ensures a finer soil finish. In the second zone, rubber-suspended, star-shaped levellers adapt to field conditions. The Dynamic Control system adjusts these levellers automatically according to working depth, eliminating the need for manual settings.
In the final zone, a choice of high-performance, rubber-suspended rollers ensures consistent reconsolidation across the full machine width and depth.
